The herbs for this tea are gathered from the wild nature around the monastery and are grown in the monastery gardens without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers. They are hand-picked, gently rubbed, and naturally dried to preserve their valuable properties. The composition of the tea is carefully selected according to the healing effect of each herb and follows traditional Athonite recipes passed down through the centuries.

Properties:

Mint (Mentha spicata) – Refreshes the breath and has natural antiseptic properties that help maintain oral hygiene. Reduces inflammation in the mouth, soothes irritated gums, and contributes to a pleasant feeling of freshness.

Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) – Has strong antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that promote the healing of wounds in the oral cavity and reduce the risk of infections. Often used for inflamed gums and mouth ulcers.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) – A powerful natural disinfectant that protects the oral cavity from bacteria. Strengthens the gums, reduces inflammation, and speeds up the healing of small wounds and sores.

Dosage: 1 teaspoon of herbs per 200 ml of hot water.

Preparation:
Place the herbs in a cup, pour hot (not boiling) water over them, and cover. Let steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain.

Use:
Gargle with the warm (not hot) infusion 2–3 times daily, holding the liquid in your mouth for 30–40 seconds before spitting it out. For best results, use after meals and before bedtime.

Important: Do not swallow. Avoid use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
