The herbs for this tea are gathered from the wild nature around the Holy Monastery of Xenophontos and are grown in the monastery gardens without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers. They are hand-picked, gently rubbed, and naturally dried to preserve their valuable properties. The composition of the tea is carefully selected according to the healing effect of each herb and follows traditional Athonite recipes passed down through the centuries.

Properties:

Nettle (Urtica dioica) – A powerful natural detoxifier that stimulates the elimination of toxins from the body. Supports liver and kidney function by promoting the removal of harmful substances and excess fluids. Rich in antioxidants and chlorophyll, which contribute to the regeneration of liver cells.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) – Supports liver function by stimulating bile secretion and improving fat metabolism. Rich in antioxidants that protect liver cells from oxidative stress and aid in their recovery.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) – Has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that support the cleansing of the body and the liver. Helps eliminate toxins and supports bile function.

Dosage: 1 teaspoon of herbs per 250 ml of hot water.
Pour hot (not boiling) water (90°C) over the herbs. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes. Strain before drinking.

Drink 1–2 cups daily – in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before bed. Course: 2–4 weeks for optimal effect.
